Helmet & Mask - 2005/2007
Helmet & Mask is a body of work created as a document of my personal feelings. The series of photographs was taken to show that I was repressing my feelings rather then living them as fully as possible. Wearing a helmet or a mask has a double function for me; it reminds me of the illusion that appearances can give and allows me to reconnect with myself.
