Speech is Silver, Silence is Golden - 2006 Part of "Genetics" - Originis pondus project
Dentition is often the means by which a corps’s identity is established. Teeth that talk, a paradox to the expression, that exists in English, and in Czech : "Speech is Silver, Silence is Golden."
Description : 200 plaster molds of teeth (400 jaws) painted in gold and glued to wall papered boards. Plaster molds given by an artist who had them from a dentist in Brno (CZ), a true double heritage. 3 panels of 1,80 x 1,20 m Total installation dimensions: 1,80 x 5 m
